OUR DELICIOUS STORY

The Chicken At-Atihan Filipino Grill & Restaurant in Niles, Illinois derived its name from the Ati-Atihan Festival, as well as its festive slogan: Sasayaw ka sa sarap! (You’ll dance because it’s so delicious!).

The Ati-Atihan Festival is held on the third Sunday of January in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines on the island of Panay. The name Ati-Atihan means “to be like Atis” or “make believe Atis,” the local name for the Aetas, who are indigenous settlers in Panay and other parts of the Philippines.
